Position Description

Non-Surgical Bariatric Medicine / Comprehensive Weight Management & Comprehensive Hormone Therapy Treatment and Procedures. 

Well established clinic locations in both Vicksburg & Ridgeland.

We are a well established, successful non-surgical bariatric and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) practice looking for a Physician Assistant to join our highly respected clinic, work alongside of a well respected Bariatric Medicine Physician with 22 years experience in the field of comprehensive medical weight loss, Retired Board Certified, FACS General Surgeon and Bariatric Surgeon, and BHRT Certified. Scope of Practice as Physician Assistant (PA), you will be trained by Dr. Sudderth to partner with our patients to develop and implement comprehensive non-surgical medical weight management treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Dr. Sudderth will provide all necessary training and ongoing quality control/quality assessment on your patient care. As a PA with our clinic, you will be exposed to a wide variety of co-morbidities associated with obesity, some diagnosed and many undiagnosed pathologies, behavior modification, lifestyle coaching, comprehensive dietary review and treatment plan implantation. In addition to non-surgical bariatric medicine, our clinic also offers comprehensive hormone optimization treatments for men and women.  Our providers deliver comprehensive hormone optimization treatment plans to include injectables and pellet insertion.  

The PA is responsible for delivering outstanding, compassionate, supportive and comprehensive patient care. The PA will be responsible for the delivery of patient treatment protocols developed and designed by the physician, in compliance with Mississippi Medical Licensure regulations and will be under the direct supervision of Dr. Stephen Sudderth. 

Our clinic opportunity provides a patient schedule that requires no nights, no call and no weekend, and no holiday clinic hours. This will allow a Physician Assistant to establish a favorable work/family life balance. The candidate is required to have an active, unrestricted Mississippi license to practice and current, unrestricted DEA license. Protocol approval is required by the Mississippi State Medical Licensure. Competitive Total Compensation Package to include, malpractice insurance, CME allowance, Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance option, Biote Hormone Certification, Obesity Medical Association Membership, a suite of Aflac insurance products also available for full time candidates. Hard Working, Energetic, Companionate and Willing to learn! All comprehensive bariatric medicine and hormone optimization training is completed by supervising physician.  

We are open for both part-time OR full-time candidates. Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch break on Monday - Thursday. Friday 8:00 - 1:30pm, No Call, No Evening Hours, No Weekends & No Holidays. Our full-time Physician Assistants are offered 1 Friday off per month as part of their package. 2.5 days in Ridgeland and/or 2-3 days in Vicksburg or a combination of both clinics if someone is looking for full time. 

Our salary range is $95,000 - $120,000.
